" I signed up with hostmysite recently and aside from a few hickups (my site not having cpanel like I requested) it is great. I had to upgrade some of the software but after about two days of configuring everything to my liking we are up and running! The guys at Hms were great and helped out a bunch, they really do answer on or before the third ring if you call them, tickets were usually responded to by the technicians themselves, always before 24 hours had passed (they work on the problem, try and fix it, and Then contact you, so dont worry if you dont get an instant response). the only main problem I have had that wasnt resolved right away (and still isnt) is that there are way too few guys on the live chat for the amount of people requesting. Sometimes I have to try 10 times to get someone to talk to on it. So if you want help, call in! So their service is amazing, always very knowledgeable and usually quick to respond. So far their uptime is great (they had some power outages the other day but I didnt notice any downtime). Their plans are very cheap for what you get (I am on the base linux vps) and if need be they will bump up your peak caps for things like memory (they boosted mine so I could upgrade apache) Definitely a good host to go with! Support engineers are available when I need them and they were able to assist with troubleshooting and securing my websites when I was in trouble.
