Les provided us an invaluable service because for some crazy reason he found what we were doing to be interesting and worthwhile - I can not say enough about the time and effort he put into our project! He did this all on a moments notice and under a ridiculous deadline that we had. He not only trained us and brought his experience with the s/w program we were to use, but he also supplied a self-made Excel w/s that he created for past projects to simplify the process. The Excel template not only made the process actually work (I question if it would have without it), but made it a fun experience for all of us involved as we worked through the process as a team. Top guy, sharp professional and fun to work with.

Les has taught a course "Planning the New Venture" to graduate students at the Daniels College of Business the past two fall quarters (08, 09). Student feedback has rated the course highly, in part because of Les' command of the subject and inclusion of current practitioners as guest lecturers and in part because of his willingness to go the distance to help students shape and test out their ideas in the real world of new ventures. If more faculty shared Les' passion for his subject, business schools would be not only more effective but also more fun.
